Darling Buster Von Duke, formerly known as Henry, was adopted at the ripe age of 2. His first two years of puppy-hood was not the best start he could have had at life; chained up in a barren yard with his 5 brothers and sisters. They had little water and food and had never been let out of their small pen.
One stormy afternoon, a large man in spiky cowboy boots, a huge red and brown raincoat and thick black gloves, came into their yard and scooped them all up into a wired cage on the back of his big red pick-up truck. That was the last time he was called "Henry", and also the last time he ever saw his brothers and sisters.
His new owner took him home to a large farm and renamed him. Buster became great friends with his owner, sharing the bed, the lounge, and even the tractor seat when they went out on the farmland. While his owner was HUGE, the same guy that rescued him from his previous home, he was the friendliest human Buster had ever been around. Together they would watch the Dog shows, the monster truck madness and the Sims County showdowns.
One day, Buster's owner took Buster to one of the Dog shows. Buster tried his hardest to please his human, even smiling his best grin after being dressed in his red and white bandanna and matching red and black cowboy's hat, exact replicas of the ones his owner loved to wear!
